Every colleague plays a key role in upholding this promise to our patients and their families.** **Shift:** First Shift (United States of America) **Government Affairs Director** Reporting to the Vice President Government Affairs, this position will develop and implement Nebraska Medicine’s government affairs, public policy and advocacy agenda, under the direction of senior leadership. Establish and manage successful relations at all levels of government. Implement strategies to identify, influence and achieve desired legislative and regulatory outcomes at all levels of government. Engage system leaders in relevant discussions on local, state and national levels to legislative and advocacy priorities of the health system. Support external relationships with health policy stakeholders and take a leadership role in coalition advocacy efforts. Identify, analyze, track, strategize, and advocate on local, state and federal policy initiatives that may impact the health system.
