Description: Position Title: Financial Analyst Location: At a federal client site in Washington, D.C. Employment: Fulltime **Position Summary:** This role provides financial management, budget analysis, and reporting support to a federal client program office in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The Financial Analyst supports budget formulation and execution, tracks obligations and expenditures, and produces financial reports, analyses, and briefing materials that support program decision\-making. The position works closely with the Project Manager, COR, program managers, and client financial leadership to make sure program funds are planned, executed, and reported accurately and in line with federal appropriations law and agency policy across the full fiscal year cycle. **Responsibilities:** * Support budget formulation and execution, including development of spend plans, budget justifications, and funding requests * Track commitments, obligations, and expenditures against approved budgets; identify potential shortfalls, excess balances, and funding risks * Reconcile financial data between agency financial management systems and program records; research and resolve discrepanc...
