Job Description: #### **Position Summary** HVJ North Texas – Chelliah Consultants, Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable **CoMET Field/Lab Technician** to support both field and laboratory operations within our Construction Materials Engineering and Testing (CoMET) division. This position is responsible for performing field testing, sample collection, laboratory testing, documentation, and reporting in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate is safety\-focused, detail\-oriented, and willing to work both in the field and laboratory environments to support construction projects throughout the DFW area. #### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Perform field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials. * Collect samples and transport materials between project sites and the laboratory. * Conduct laboratory testing in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, and project specifications. * Accurately document test results and maintain testing records. * Prepare field reports and laboratory reports in a timely manner. * Coordinate with project managers, laboratory personnel, contractors, and clients. * Maintain testing eq...
