Child and Family is recruiting an Accountant for the North Texas clinics. The Accountant is responsible for analyzing complex financial records and reports and verifying accounting operations from inputting, reconciling, and processing invoices; expense reimbursements; and credit/debit cards and bank transactions, to preparing financial statements and reports. **Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:** * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger account reconciliations for all types of accounts, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets and intangibles, to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger reliability. * Prepare monthly journal entries and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts. * Perform monthly bank reconciliations. * Perform various analysis on general ledger accounts or budget to actual reports as directed by CFO. * Work with other departments as needed to resolve issues. * Assist with the annual external audit. * Improve accounting systems and processes by creating useful suggestions and reports to management. **Job Qualifications:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essent...
