Description

As a Registered Nurse for Aurora Behavioral Healthcare San Diego, you'll provide general and psychiatric nursing care to adults with emotional or psychiatric disorders. You will provide interventions that: promote and foster health; assess dysfunction; assist patients to regain or improve their coping abilities; maximize patient strengths and prevent further disability. These interventions focus on the psychiatric\-mental health patient and include health promotion and health maintenance; monitoring patients and assisting them with self\-care activities; monitoring psycho\-biological treatment regimens; providing triage decisions and facilitating patient movement into appropriate services. * **Pay Range: $50/hr. to $67/hr.** * **Available Shifts:** **Full Time and Part Time: NOC Shift (11:00 P.M. to 7:30 A.M.)** **Responsibilities:** * Collects and analyzes data regarding the patient’s physical, psychological, self\-care, educational, and anticipated discharge planning needs * Develops a comprehensive outline of care to be delivered to attain expected outcomes; includes in this plan, specific goals and interventions delineating nursing actions unique to each patient * Maintains eff...
