Grand Home Furnishings is hiring a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who wants to be part of that tradition and grow a long\-term career with us. **What You’ll Do** Our Staff Accountants keep daily banking, journal entries, and account reconciliations accurate and on schedule. Day to day, you’ll: * Process daily store deposits, credit card and third\-party financing transactions, and related journal entries * Reconcile assigned accounts and maintain spreadsheets per department procedures * Prepare the weekly pre\-check register and process approved paper checks and EFTs * Prepare and file sales, use, and property tax returns as assigned * Update financial reports and assemble the monthly P\&L books * Assist the Controller and CFO with special projects, audit preparation, and government reporting as needed **What We’re Looking F...
