**Certified Clinical Medical Assistant\- Hematotherapy** Seeking a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant for BCHP's Hematotherapy Division in Hawthorne, NY. Candidates must have a Medical Assistant Certification to be considered for this position. This position's schedule will be Monday\-Friday 9:00am\-5:00pm. The pay range of this position will be $25/hr\-$30/hr, negotiable based on experience. **Primary Purpose** Under the direction Of the Nurse Manager or designee and Medical Director of Hematotherapy, the Medical Assistant provides initial Hematotherapy patient triage, registration and administrative services; assists with direct patient care and performs specialized procedures Of a routine nature. as directed by Hematotherapy policies and procedures. **SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Obtains patients vital signs, height and weight * Prepares patient exam and treatment rooms, maintaining adequate stock * Performs phlebotomy and urinalysis as necessary, identifies and labels specimens accordingly * Prepares samples for laboratory, completing all necessary paperwork * Transports samples and blood products to and from laboratory and blood bank when necessary * Maintain...
