**General Job Summary:** Under the general direction of the Manager, Tissue Recovery, while utilizing established parameters and healthcare knowledge and expertise, assists the Manager, Tissue Recovery in monitoring, evaluating, and improving all aspects of tissue recovery for transplant, research, and education, in accordance with internal SOP’s, processor SOP’s and/or technical service manuals and work instructions, AATB and FDA standards. The Supervisor assesses, evaluates, and advises tissue recovery staff regarding potential tissue donors while working collaboratively with all necessary organizational team members, tissue AOC and third\-party partners. The Tissue Recovery Supervisor provides guidance and on\-going training to the Tissue Recovery Specialist 1’s, Tissue Recovery Specialist 2’s, Team Leaders and Team Leader 2’s in the communication of medical record, EMR, DRAI and physical assessment discrepancies proactively or prior to contacting the tissue AOC or tissue processor when available.
