**OVERVIEW:** The Resident Field Diesel Technician is responsible for operating a company\-issued service vehicle and traveling to customer locations to diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy construction equipment. This role requires a self\-motivated individual who can work independently while delivering safe, high\-quality, and efficient service that exceeds customer expectations. The position may require overtime, overnight travel, and occasional weekend work based on customer and business needs. This position reports to the Sioux Falls Branch and must live with in the Aberdeen, SD area . **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform field repairs, maintenance, and preventive maintenance with minimal direct supervision. * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to meet OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and quality standards * Test, inspect, and evaluate all major machine systems to accurately identify failures and required repairs. * Recondition and repair equipment and components safely, efficiently, and effectively by planning repair methods and sequencing work. * Perform diagnostic inspections and repair determination inspections in accordance wi...
