### **Description** As a **Senior Propulsion Component Engineer (Electromechanical) at Impulse**, you will own all aspects of component design from concept to product realization, while working closely with a fast\-paced, agile team that strives to make a high\-performance spacecraft from a clean sheet design. ### **Responsibilities** * Design propulsion system electromechanical components including linear and rotary actuators and motors * Perform integrated system trades on power systems, actuation rates, and force margins to arrive at optimal solution for flight vehicle * Own all aspects of component design from initial concepts to product realization * Generate detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings * Perform thermal and structural analysis as required * Establish assembly procedures and work hands\-on with technicians to refine this process * Define and support rigorous component development and qualification testing * Resolve technical issues with innovative and resourceful solutions ### **Minimum Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field * 5\+ years of demonstrated experience in high power density motor and/or actuator design * A strong unde...
