A PCS2 contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to patients, people seeking testing or pharmacy patrons. Within their duties of greeting patients in a courteous and sensitive manner, scheduling appointments and assisting with the needs of our clients, this position has the opportunity to give standout service that enhances the reputation of AHF, encourages clients to continue to seek medical treatment from an AHF Healthcare Center and recommend our services to others. The PCS role includes offering patient intake interviews, financial screenings and registering for Ryan White and AIDs Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) services. Ensuring that appropriate documentation for patient eligibility is filed and entered into our computer database. This position requires a Medical Assistant certification, national certification is preferred, but not required. Within their duties of accurately collecting new patient medical history, determining what tests/screenings are due during medical visits, taking patient vitals and documenting all patient health\-related complaints, this position has the opportunity to provide excellent patient centered care.
