Description: * **H1B Visa sponsorship is not available.** Position Summary: The focus of the Applications \& Estimating Engineer is to support the sales efforts of the company for the engineering, design, and commissioning of air pollution control and/or water and wastewater treatment systems. This is accomplished primarily through preparing costs estimates and technical proposals for Monroe Environmental equipment and services. It requires process and applications engineering, system design, and collaboration with project engineers, mechanical designers, customers, vendors, sub\-contractors, and related project stakeholders. Responsibilities: * Applications engineering and system design of air pollution control and/or water and wastewater treatment equipment * Assist sales engineers to evaluate new opportunities from technical feasibility standpoint * Prepares technical proposals which describe equipment design, scope of supply, exclusions, project schedules, and prices * Prepares detailed cost estimates which include allocations for engineering, manufacturing, project management, materials, and other specific project costs * Mechanical design and process engineering, including pi...
