Description

We are seeking a highly technical Structural Design / CAD Engineer to drive the mechanical design and structural validation for our ambulance lines (Type 1, 2, and 3\). Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for engineering robust vehicle module structures and taking ownership of the design. From initial 3D conceptualization in Autodesk Inventor to final 2D production drawings. You will utilize Nastran FEA to validate structural integrity, ensuring all designs meet the strict geometric and payload constraints provided by the engineering leadership team. **Key Responsibilities** * **Structural Design:** Develop parametric 3D CAD models of vehicle module structures and floorplans using Autodesk Inventor. * **Simulation \& Validation:** Perform finite element analysis (FEA) using Nastran to validate structures for stress, fatigue and survivability against defined engineering parameters. * **Production Detailing:** Generate precise, manufacturing\-ready 2D drawings and flat patterns in AutoCAD for fabrication, welding, and assembly teams. * **Weight \& Balance:** Conduct continuous payload, weight distribution, and center of gravity calculations utilizin...
