**Overview** Omega Construction is seeking a hands\-on Controller and Business Operations Manager to oversee the company's accounting, financial reporting, HR administration, purchasing, compliance, assets, and office administration. This position reports directly to ownership and keeps the financial and administrative side of the company accurate, organized, compliant, and efficient. **Accounting and Financial Management** * Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, customer billing, collections, and retainage. * Maintain accurate bookkeeping, bank and credit\-card reconciliations, and monthly close. * Prepare and review profit and loss, balance sheet, cash\-flow, budgets, forecasts, and financial recommendations for ownership. * Coordinate with the company's CPA, payroll provider, banks, and insurance providers. **Construction Job and Project Accounting** * Assign and maintain project and job numbers and cost codes. * Track labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor costs by project. * Monitor project costs, profitability, billing, change orders, retainage, and estimated costs compared with actual costs. * Coordinate with the company’s payroll provider, review pa...
