**POSITION SUMMARY** The Staff Accountant is responsible for owning assigned accounting processes and supporting the monthly close for Vero Fiber and its construction\-related operations. This role is designed for an accountant who can take responsibility for recurring areas of the general ledger, maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations, and follow items through resolution with limited day\-to\-day direction. The position has a strong emphasis on construction and project accounting, including job and project cost tracking, construction\-in\-progress, fixed assets, project closeouts, and project\-level revenue and cost activity. The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Accounting Manager, Project Managers, operations, and the broader Vero Finance team to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, well\-supported, and audit\-ready. **RESPONSIBILITIES*** Own assigned areas of the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, allocations, account analysis, and supporting schedules. * Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations, research reconciling items, and drive items to timely resolution. * Review general ledger activity for appr...
