**Position Summary** The Associate Project Accountant is assigned to a smaller construction project(s) and partners with the Project Management team to assure timely and accurate accounting and risk management throughout the project life cycle **Position Details** * Ensure accurate reporting of financial information and timely invoicing pertaining to a particular project. Maintains project\-related ledger accounts. * Disseminates month\-end project reports to management and relevant business lines. * Maintains list of month\-end deadlines and ensure that profit and cash flow forecasts are prepared on time and accurately. * Reviews project forecasts on a regular basis and ensure any outstanding matters are dealt with on a timely basis. * Maintains project register. Prepares month\-end posting/ allocations and accruals. Controls the accounts payable and receivable tasks for the project. * Identifies and assists with the resolution of basic project\-related accounting issues. * Ensures policies and procedures for project accounting are adhered to. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree in Finance preferred * 1\-3 years’ of project accounting experience preferred * Basic accounting kno...
