**About the role** This is a hands\-on, close\-cycle role with clear monthly deliverables, and a path toward work in reconciliations, tax and controls. **What you'll do** **Cash application and AR** * Apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wires, card) against open invoices * Clear unapplied cash, short\-pays and overpayments, working with our credit team * Produce AR aging and unapplied\-cash reporting for management and credit **Bank reconciliations** * Reconcile all bank accounts monthly and investigate reconciling items promptly * Flag unusual or unauthorized activity right away **Corporate card program (Ramp)** * Reconcile Ramp monthly and review transaction coding * Manage Ramp access and maintenance **Fixed assets** * Maintain the fixed asset register: additions, depreciation, disposals and the monthly roll\-forward **Compliance** * Manage certificates of insurance (COIs) * Prepare sales tax workpapers for the senior accountant's filings **Month\-end close** * Deliver your reconciliations and schedules on the close calendar and support audit requests * Assist with Journal Entries **What you'll bring** * Bachelor's degree in accounting (Preferred) * 2–4 years of general accoun...
