#### **POSITION SUMMARY** #### **The Food Service Worker assists the Food Service Supervisor in training and scheduling Food Workers, performing quality control on food leaving the kitchen, and ordering inventory to keep up with demand.** #### **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES** #### **The Food Service Worker is responsible for a variety of tasks, common duties include:** * **Assists in hiring and training new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimation** * **Streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times for timely delivery at each site** * **Working with the Site Manager and** **Kitchen Supervisor to** **develop and maintain the menu and levels of service** * **Following regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels** * **Assists** **in creating schedules for all kitchen staff and WAT clients** * **Assists with tracking kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste and opportunities to increase potential income** * **Submits WAT client timesheets and all invoices in a timely manner to accounting department** * **Acts as a liaison for Polara Health and catering companies concerning use ...
