**Position Title**: Accounting Manager **Reports To**: Controller **Department**: Accounting **Status:** Exempt **Position Purpose:** The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing a team of general accounting staff and is responsible for financial reporting and internal audit functions. Through your day\-to\-day interactions and development of the accounting team, we would expect you to make recommendations to the Controller regarding how the various accounting processes can be enhanced or improved. **Essential Job Functions**: The Accounting Manager must be able to perform all the following duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations: Supervision of general accounting activities and staff, to include Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Commissions; Month\-end closing to include bank reconciliation, manual and recurring journal entries, GL account reconciliations; Assist with Financial reporting, including accurate and timely completion of monthly financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, and variance analyses; Cost accounting; Fixed asset accounting; Examination of the company’s internal controls, to include developing appropr...
