**Equipment Operator / Foreman** **Position Summary** A\-jay Excavating Inc. is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator / Foreman to supportunderground utility and Earth Moving operations. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating Dozers, Scrapers, Excavators, Backhoes, Ship n Drag and other heavy equipment used to install underground Utilities and build out civil projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate has experience working around underground utilities and understands the importance of utility locating, safe excavation, trenching, jobsite safety, and precision equipment operation. **Key Responsibilities** * Operate excavators, backhoes, and other construction equipment for underground utility installation. * Perform trenching and excavation for Water, Sewer, Storm drain, Dry utilities, and other underground utilities. * Complete daily pre\-operational equipment inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns. * Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep equipment clean and properly maintained. * Read and understand utility locates, site plans, construction drawings, and project specifications. * Safely expose existing utilities and...
