**JOB CLASS NUMBER:** CLR820 **PAY GRADE:** G06 **FLSA STATUS:** Non\-Exempt **BUSINESS UNIT NAME:** Community Development **REPORTS TO:** Grant Manager/Deputy Community Development Director **SUPERVISORY WORK:** None **PAY:** $18\.50 per hour **SUMMARY** Under the supervision of the Grant Manager, this position is responsible for providing tasks related to monitoring all federal and state grant\-funded programs (including, but not limited to: CDBG, HOME, ESG, CoC, HMIS, CARE, etc.). Team responsibilities include researching, interpreting, and applying relevant federal regulations to grant programs; writing proposals; developing and managing projects; monitoring compliance; evaluating projects; and performing special studies and research to develop programs, projects, and procedures for various departmental and city programs. ***NOTE: Employees in the Community Development Department and their family members are prohibited from participating in or receiving benefit from the City of Amarillo’s programs funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and other state and federally funded programs and grants.*** **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES** * Participates in a team of emplo...
