**Job Summary****:** The Staff Accountant/Sr Accountant is responsible for timely and accurate development and completion of directing and supervising the Saracen Casino Resort’s general ledger function. Working collaboratively with Accounts Payable and other Finance Team Members, ensures processing of all transactions are accurately coded consistent with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), accounting policies and procedures and all regulatory requirements. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. **Essential Functions and Responsibilities** * Provides general direction and collaborates with Accounts Payable and other Finance employees. * Develop, review and upload journal entries as needed. * Assists in special projects as required. * Reconcile balance sheets accounts as directed. * Daily review of GL coding of AP batches. * Review MMS transactions and resolve outstanding issues before month end * Assist in month end close process. * Assist in other projects, as directed by Finance Management. * Attend all necessary training meetings. * Provides exceptional ...
