**QUALIFICATIONS:** * Clear and valid Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements * High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred * Must be 18 years of age * Ability to use personal computer * Ability to effectively direct, manage and lead personnel * Ability to read, understand and interpret documents including District policies, department guidelines and procedures, and local, state, and federal laws * Ability to professionally communicate in both verbal and written formats * Demonstrated excellence in providing exceptional customer service * Ability to pass alcohol and drug tests and annual physical exam * Must maintain bus driver certification * Ability to safely operate a school bus * Proven effective organizational, communication, and analysis skills required * Two (2\) years’ experience as a school bus driver * Two (2\) years’ supervisory experience preferred * One (1\) year transportation routing experience in a public school setting preferred * Ability to speak, read and understand the English language **TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:** 244 days **SALARY/PAY GRADE:** $ 47,730 (BA\-1\) Salary (based on verifiable job\-related experience) ...
