**POSITION SUMMARY** Under the supervision of the Regional Yard Manager and Terminal Manager, and in the absence of the Terminal Manager, is entrusted with responsibility for day\-to\-day management of terminal yard operations. Trains, evaluates, and directly supervises the yard drivers and other employees. Enforces safety and other applicable work rules. Coordinates the various yard services to facilitate trailer loading and dispatch departure schedules. Responsible for the safe and efficient utilization of all yard equipment. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Recruit, train, schedule, evaluate, and direct the activities of Yard employees * Assure that all required corporate and/or customer reports are timely and accurately completed and submitted * Oversee the safe and efficient operation of all equipment assigned to the Yard * Enforce rules of conduct, safety and attendance for Yard employees and administer discipline with the advice and concurrence of the Terminal Manager and the Human Recourses Department * Adhere to and enforce all ethical standards by which the Company operates. * Maintain flexibility to work various hours and shifts depending upon the operational needs of the term...
