**NATURE OF THE WORK \- ACCOUNTANT:** The Accountant performs professional accounting work at the journey level in support of VVWRA’s financial operations. Key responsibilities include auditing, analyzing, and verifying financial records; preparing financial statements and reports; reconciling general ledger and subsidiary accounts; and supporting the Authority’s annual budget and year\-end audit processes. The position may perform full\-cycle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions, as well as assist with capital asset accounting, bank reconciliations, financial analysis, and other special projects. The Accountant works closely with Finance staff and other departments to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and properly documented. **MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS \- ACCOUNTANT:*** Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field. * Minimum of one (1\) year of bookkeeping and accounting work experience.
