**General Statement of Duties:** Responsible for planning, design coordination, construction review of Capital Projects, including internal and external designed projects; performs directly related work as required. **Distinguishing Features of the Class:** The principal function of an employee in this class is to oversee planning and coordination of capital projects. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of the Engineering Manager or General Manager (as appropriate), but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Water Board General Manager, Engineering Manager, and other Water Board employees, state agencies, local businesses, and the general public.
