**Description** Medical Group Practices Nursing/Clinical Support Req \#: 96077 Join a friendly, specialty nephrology practice with exceptional interdisciplinary teamwork, supporting a team of 19 providers. This is a Monday–Friday position with no weekends or on‑call requirements, and MaineHealth holidays off, offering an excellent work–life balance. The Medical Assistant will provide primarily clinical support to office providers, including rooming patients for in‑person visits by gathering and updating medical information, preparing patients for telehealth appointments, and maintaining ongoing communication with patients regarding provider instructions. The role also involves close collaboration with nursing staff on clinical questions and triage issues, as well as supporting clinical projects such as lab entry, prior authorizations, and referral processing.
