Duties Description \- Supervise the overall activities/operations at the Elmira Field Headquarters. This includes assignment of duties to staff, oversight of projects and work scheduling to complete necessary tasks. * Field work will be required for this position including construction/trades duties, heavy equipment \& tractor operation, and use of chainsaw. * Will be required to operate medium to heavy duty dump trucks with equipment trailer to move materials and equipment to and from job\-sites. Also to transport trucks, trailers, and equipment to maintenance facilities and assist with diagnosing mechanical issues. Must possess a CDL Class\-B license at the time of appointment. * Work with other NYSDEC programs, State Agencies and/or Municipalities to identify, initiate and complete targeted priority projects. This may also include the task of obtaining outside contractor/vendor help through the bid process. * Ensure all necessary administrative record keeping and activity is maintained, accurate \& current.
