**Department:** 02130 GCMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology: Pineville \- Gastroenterology **Status:** Full time **Benefits Eligible:** Yes **Hou****rs Per Week:** 40 **Schedule Details/Additional Information:** M\-F 7:30\-5:00 **Pay Range:** $20\.80 \- $31\.20 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience in a healthcare setting or as a Unit Secretary preferred. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1\. Reviews and documents patient identification, and places armbands on patients arriving for care. 2\. Uses effective communication skills when interacting with patients, visitors, co\-workers, management and physicians. Uses effective communication skills and strict patient identifiers when directing information and communications. 3\. Maintains compliance with HIPPA regulations, CMS regulation and Medicare/Medicaid regulations as the regulations pertain to the registration process and information flow to the multi\-disciplinary team and to the public. 4\.
