**Key Responsibilities** **Product Design and Development** * Develop new products and enhance existing products to address customer needs, expand market opportunities, and strengthen Ameron’s competitive position. * Evaluate concepts for structural performance, functionality, manufacturability, and cost. * Develop engineering calculations, models, drawings, renderings, and technical documentation to support concept evaluation and product implementation. * Plan and support prototyping and testing; evaluate results and refine designs. * Establish design methods and technical guidance that allow new products and options to transition into routine engineering and production workflows. * Provide engineering support to the shop to clarify product design requirements and resolve technical questions related to manufacturing the product. * Incorporate production feedback into product designs to improve manufacturability while maintaining required performance. **Engineering Analysis Tools** * Maintain and improve engineering analysis methods and software to accommodate applicable design codes, new products, materials, and design requirements. * Translate engineering requirements into docume...
