**POSITION PURPOSE:** The Assistant Project Manager is the beginning of the leadership ladder for TEEL. This role carries accountability for safety, schedule, cost, quality and the client relationship on every assigned project. A Assistant Project Manager typically supports several concurrent projects or one landmark project, often fast\-tracked and in occupied or operating facilities. The role also leads and develops Project Engineers and serves as a voice in how Project Operations improves its processes. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** **Preconstruction and buyout** * Review drawings, specifications and the prime contract to understand scope, exclusions and risk. * Assist with scope sheets, bid leveling and subcontractor selection. * Draft subcontracts and purchase orders for PM review and track them to full execution. * Collect insurance certificates, bonds and other compliance documents before subcontractors mobilize. * Support permitting and utility coordination. **Document control** * Manage the Project Engineer in submittal logs: review submittals for contract compliance, route them to the design team and chase responses. * Write, track and close RFIs, and distribute answers to af...
