**SUMMARY**: Researches, plans, and designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems, and directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems by performing the duties listed below. Possess a collaborative personality and should be opened to suggestions from team members. This job has no supervisory responsibilities. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.) · Participate in structural analysis of parts and assemblies independently and in groups using various methods such as hand calculations, Excel spreadsheets, FEA, etc. Experience performing FEA’s is preferred. · Research and analyze data such as customer design requirements, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application. · Determine feasibility of designing new manipulators or modifying existing designs considering costs, availability, space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors in harmony with corporate goals. · Design and develop complex mechanical machine tools · Plan and direc...
