**About this Job** ------------------ **District 61\- Unit 170\- East Baton Rouge** At the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), we plan, build, maintain, and protect the transportation systems that connect communities, support commerce, and keep Louisiana moving. The **Preservation Program Engineer** serves as the principal authority and primary point of contact for all preservation activities within their assigned District. This position is in **District 61** and reports to the **ADA Engineering.** **This position is open to only current permanent classified DOTD employees.** **Minimum Qualifications** -------------------------- Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice professional engineering plus one of the following: Three years of licensed engineering experience; or Seven years of professional engineering experience. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTIONS: A master's degree in engineering will substitute for one year of professional engineering experience.
