**Controller – Construction Accounting** **About Mared Mechanical** Mared Mechanical is a 100% employee\-owned commercial and industrial mechanical contractor based in Menomonee Falls, WI. Our work covers HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, controls/building automation, sheet metal, and piping across both construction and service. **The Role** We're looking for an experienced Controller to own day\-to\-day finance and accounting for our construction and service businesses. You'll lead a team of three and partner with our outside accounting firm. You'll also work directly with the President, Head of Operations, and Head of Sales on financial strategy, reporting, and controls. **What You'll Do** * Own monthly WIP schedules and percentage\-of\-completion reporting * Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and management reporting, including Power BI dashboards * Handle covenant compliance calculations, cash management, and line\-of\-credit utilization * Oversee AP, AR/construction billing, service billing, and payroll * Lead budgeting, job costing accuracy, and margin analysis across construction and service work * Maintain internal controls and GAAP compliance * Oversee the c...
