A growing SEC\-registered investment advisor in Richmond is hiring a Tax Associate to prepare returns for high\-net\-worth individuals and families. The firm focuses on high\-touch, relationship\-driven wealth management, and this role suits a detail\-oriented tax professional who wants to keep learning alongside an experienced team. It's a full\-time hybrid position reporting to the Tax and Financial Planning Manager. **Position Overview** * Prepare individual, trust, gift, and pass\-through entity income tax returns, along with estimates and projections, for high\-net\-worth clients. * Build workpapers and calculations that catch and resolve discrepancies before returns are filed. * Research complex or unusual tax issues and share recommendations with the tax team and clients. * Draft responses to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities, and support the team on audits. * Track tax law changes that affect high\-net\-worth individuals and keep the team informed. * Build long\-term client relationships through responsive service, following up promptly on missing information, corrections, and open questions. * Keep client information accurate and current in the CRM and ot...
