**Controller – BuiltRite Storage Systems (Wilmington, NC)** BuiltRite Storage Systems designs, engineers and installs self\-storage facilities, including climate\-controlled, multi\-story, and boat and RV storage. We’re looking for a hands\-on Controller to run day\-to\-day accounting and keep our books accurate and current. **What you’ll do** * Review, enter and approve payables * Manage cash, including daily cash position, bank reconciliations and cash flow planning * Handle project billing and collections, and manage receivables * Maintain the general ledger and close the books each month * Process payroll and keep payroll filings current * Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for leadership * Multi\-State tax filings * Keep internal controls in place and support the annual tax preparation and audit **What we’re looking for** * Degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience (preferred) * 3–5\+ years of hands\-on accounting experience covering the full cycle (AP, AR, GL, payroll) * Strong Excel and accounting software skills * Organized, accurate, and comfortable owning the whole process * Construction or project\-based billing experience is a plus; CPA is ...
