**Position:**Floor Counselor (Per Diem) The Counselor is responsible for the delivery and implementation of clinical series to a population of individuals who experience substance misuse and symptoms of mental health disorders. The Counselor serves as a member of the multi\-disciplinary team and reports to the Program Coordinator, Assistant Director, or Director. This position is based at our Men's Residential Center located at 998 Crooked Hill Road, Brentwood, NY. **Essential Duties:** * Provide individual sessions consistent with client need, person\-centered care, and best practices. * Facilitate group sessions related to various topics including but not limited to: substance use, relapse prevention, trauma, life skills, stages of change, etc. * Document all service delivery in the EHR promptly and consistent with insurance and stakeholder standards. * Ensure that 70% of work hours are spent providing services. * Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, as well as individual and group supervision. * Deescalate client crises when appropriate and report all incidents to site managers. * Complete toxicology testing consistent with OASAS and Outreach policies. * Attend speak...
