Job Description **Job Title:** Staff Pharmacist **Reports To:** Pharmacy Manager SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no customary supervisor responsibilities. May direct ancillary staff in the absence of the pharmacy manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Individual may not be on the government exclusion lists as determined by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) and System for Award Management (SAM) While on duty, ensures that the pharmacy complies with all state and federal laws, regulations and rules. Remains active and in good standing with all licensing requirements of the governing state board of pharmacy. During the two (2\) year reporting period, pharmacist completes the state\-required continuing education units (CEU), which are approved by the Accreditation Council for Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) Notifies the governing state board of pharmacy immediately with regard to the individual leaving employment \[of this pharmacy] Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing the following duties: **Reviews patient prescriptions by various means:** oral, written, fax, or electronic, as well as, th...
