This position will work in the lab doing phlebotomy and processing specimens for in house testing and transport to outside lab(s). This position will also work in the clinic doing client intake and assisting providers. **Medical Assistant and/or Phlebotomy** * Performs Laboratory testing and patient servicing in a Health Department laboratory either alone or in cooperation with another technician or technologist. * Performs daily maintenance of equipment. * Maintains a clean and disinfected environment in lab at all times. * Prepares specimens for transport to outside. * Follows packaging guidelines to ensure proper temperature is maintained. * Records and maintains records and results as required by Florida statutes. * Stocks a...
