Riley's Pharmacy is a family owned independent pharmacy that has served Glendale since 1950\. We are looking for a California licensed Supervisor Pharmacist to join our team. This is a fast paced pharmacy. You will need to work quickly and accurately, juggle several priorities at once, and stay calm and friendly with patients during busy stretches. **What you will do** * Verify prescriptions accurately in a high volume setting * Counsel patients on new and changing medications * Give vaccines, including flu, COVID, shingles, and travel vaccines * Run travel health consultations for patients heading overseas * Manage medication synchronization (med sync) so patients pick up everything in one trip * Handle prior authorizations and resolve insurance rejections with prescribers and plans * Provide medication therapy management and medication reviews * Supervise and support our pharmacy technicians * Help keep the pharmacy compliant with California Board of Pharmacy rules **What you need** * Active California Pharmacist license in good standing * At least 2 years of retail or community pharmacy experience as a licensed pharmacist * Management experience, such as managing a pharmacy or s...
