**Job Description:** **POSITION SUMMARY** The Pharmacist provides safe, accurate, efficient, and patient\-centered pharmacy services within Desert Sage Health Centers’ in\-house pharmacy. Responsibilities include prescription verification and dispensing, patient counseling, medication safety, medication access, oversight of pharmacy technicians, and other professional pharmacy services within the pharmacist’s scope of practice. The Pharmacist works collaboratively with the Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist\-in\-Charge (PIC), DSHC providers, clinical teams, and pharmacy staff to improve medication access, support continuity of care, and promote appropriate use of pharmacy services. DSHC pharmacists are also expected to use their clinical pharmacy knowledge to identify and support opportunities to improve medication therapy, adherence, safety, and patient outcomes. **SUPERVISION RECEIVED** Works under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist\-in\-Charge.
