**Job Description :** The Shop Lead, like all employees of Bridger Precast, is a core member of the company. This position is responsible for Production Efficiency and mentorship of daily operations of the precast concrete manufacturing plant. The Shop Lead reports directly to the Production Manager. The Shop lead helps create and maintain the “Culture” of the shop, while instilling a team mentality. It is absolutely necessary to lead by example. An attitude of constant improvement is essential. Identifying potential waste, quality issues, openness and approachability is essential in creating a unified trusting team. Direct team to stay on task and follow production priority to meet company goals and deadlines. Strives to maintain reasonable production hours, efficiency, and avoids mistakes from team rushing or being off task. This position starts as a Production Operator to learn what is needed to succeed in the Shop Lead role.
