#### **JOB DESCRIPTION: Pharmacist In Charge (PIC)** LOCATION: Retail Pharmacy REPORTS: Directly to RVP Pharmacy Operations COMPANY: NW Staffing LLC \|\| dba Express Rx #### **SUMMARY** The PIC oversees all aspects of the retail pharmacy, with their main role being pharmacy employee supervision, prescription processing and patient interaction/communication. Additional duties include, but not limited to – prepare pharmacy for business; scheduling employees; finding replacements when scheduled employees are unable to cover; vacation approval and coverage; administrative and bookkeeping tasks; inventory control; and data entry. They must work well in a fast\-paced environment and have strong customer service skills. #### **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Maintains records of all transactions of the pharmacy necessary to ensure accurate control over, and accountability for, all drugs as required by applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations. * Ensures legal operation and compliance of the pharmacy, including meeting all inspection and other requirements of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing pharmacy operations. * Maintains accurate records of all prescript...
