Overview: The Senior Revenue Accountant will support the accounting and analysis of net patient revenue across multiple brands within the organization. This role will work closely with the Director of Revenue Accounting OPT and Revenue leadership to maintain accurate revenue reporting, perform balance sheet analysis, develop supporting financial schedules, and investigate trends and variances. ***This is a hybrid role with 3 days in office located in Louisville, Kentucky.*** Responsibilities: * Analyze revenue models used in net patient revenue calculations. * Perform detailed balance sheet account analysis, including reconciliations to external systems, roll\-forward schedules, aging analysis, trend analysis, and investigation of unusual or aged balances and discrepancies. * Prepare and record journal entries, including supporting schedules and documentation. * Calculate monthly revenue accruals and evaluate the reasonableness of recorded balances using historical trends and supporting operational data. * Analyze unexpected fluctuations in net patient revenue, balance sheet accounts, collections, and other key financial metrics. * Transform large or complex data sets into organize...
