The Plant Manager is responsible for oversight of full cycle plant operations to include leadership of employees, organization of production and ensuring the plant is runs smoothly, quickly, efficiently and safely. Key areas of production include blending, packaging, inventory and distribution of chemical products to meet customer demand. This role will maintain optimum operation by assigning work, creating and keeping work and production schedules, hiring and training new employees, collecting and looking through data to find places of waste or places of improvement, keep an eye on worker safety and plant safety, monitor the production equipment to make sure that it stays in good working order, and repair or replace the equipment when needed. The Plant Manager is responsible for quality control prior to products leaving the plant.
