Construction Engineer **General Description** The Construction Engineer is an entry level engineering position in the heavy highway/civil and site development fields of construction. The Construction Engineer will report to the Project Engineer on a jobsite. **Key Duties** * Produce labor and equipment cost reports to monitor production costs, drive billing, budgets and costs to complete. * Produce daily, weekly and monthly quantities to monitor production, drive management reports and reconcile owner quantities using Excel and SAP. * Assists Field Engineer and Project Engineer in updating project schedule in P6\. * Initiates purchase orders, shop drawings, submittals and material deliveries. * Prepare the forecasted final cost reports; Bi\-monthly accumulation of costs and quantities for comparison of an as\-bid to as\-built. Report in SAP format for corporate presentation. * Submittals – Developing and tracking. * Drafting – Field sketches, interpreting contract drawings for use in the field. * Daily Logs – gather and compile daily diaries to include photo log. * Maintain Excel Tracking Logs – Change Orders, RFI’s and Claims. * Produced meeting minutes during construction meeting...
