Chief Finance Officer (CFO) Job Description Job Title: Chief Finance Officer (CFO) Salary Range: $80,000 \- $90,000 Reports To: Superintendent Terms of Employment: 12 months Wage/Hour Status: Exempt **Qualifications:** Baccalaureate degree from an accredited four\-year college or university with a concentration in accounting, finance or business administration and three years of professional experience in business related field; and supervisory experience. Quality for certification as a School Business Administrator according to policy of the North Carolina State Board of Education. Qualify for a performance bond. **Preferred Qualifications:** Master’s Degree in accounting, business administration, or finance with a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). School finance experience or experience in a government setting preferred. Performance Responsibilities: Assumes responsibility for the receipt and expenditure of schoolsystems funds.
