SDM Transport Inc. is looking for a responsible, highly organized, detail\-oriented and proactive Shop Data Entry \& Parts Coordinator to join our team at our Gurnee location. We are looking for someone who is dependable, fast, a strong planner, able to multitask, and comfortable working in a busy semi\-truck repair environment. Responsibilities include: \- Entering and updating repair and maintenance information in the company system \- Organizing and tracking completed and outstanding work orders \- Making sure completed work orders are received and properly documented \- Updating repair status and maintaining accurate repair records \- Daily warranty submissions \- Opening warranty/repair claims and tracking claims through completion \- Following up on outstanding claims and required documentation \- Planning ahead for upcoming repairs, parts needs, and shop priorities \- Locating and sourcing semi\-truck parts \- Comparing prices and negotiating with vendors to obtain the best possible pricing \- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers and vendors \- Using online resources and AI tools to research parts, pricing, availability, and repair solutions \...
