Reporting to our Senior Manager, Accounting, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of complex financial data and the execution of monthly accounting duties to ensure accuracy with GAAP. This position requires critical thinking and an understanding of technical accounting functions. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** **Sponsorship Revenue:*** Own the accounting and financial tracking of sponsorship agreements, including contract review, billing, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, accounts receivable, and monthly reconciliation to the general ledger. * Maintain a comprehensive sponsorship contract schedule detailing contract value, billing terms, revenue recognition periods, deliverables, amounts billed, amounts collected, revenue recognized, and deferred revenue. * Review sponsorship agreements and amendments to identify changes that may impact billing, revenue recognition, or financial reporting, and coordinate with cross\-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely accounting. * Reconcile sponsorship contract activity to accounts receivable, cash receipts, revenue, and deferred revenue and investigate discrepancies. **Inventory \& Merchandise Revenue:*** Own t...
