**Job Overview:** Looking to get your boots dirty and your career moving? Primoris Heavy Civil is currently hiring an experienced Field Engineer for our Abilene, Tx project. As a Field Engineer in our Heavy Highway Division, you’ll be at the heart of major infrastructure projects, turning plans into pavement and ideas into interstates. The Field Engineer will be solely responsible in providing assistance to field staff on roads and highway construction activities. Provide technical engineering expertise to a specific project and provide assistance in the field construction activities, assuring compliance with project plans and specifications. **Functional Requirements** * Coordinate with Superintendents and Foremen to see that project plans and specifications are being followed and that the most cost\-effective methods are employed. * Bring deficiencies of plans to attention of inspector and Project Manager. * Assist with resolution of problems with inspectors. * Measure all work put in place and monitor the accumulation and documentation of quantities then report these to the Project Engineer for inclusion on monthly estimate and for reporting to the accounting system. * Maintain ...
